This policy describes how the Wynkr iOS keyboard app ("Wynkr", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. Wynkr is built by Work With Pidugu, an independent software studio. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and sold directly to users.

A note about keyboards
iOS sandboxes third-party keyboards by default. In that default state, Wynkr can only see the text you're typing while the keyboard is open in a given app, and never receives anything outside of that.
Some features — specifically AI-powered suggestions — require Full Access, which iOS asks you to grant explicitly. With Full Access enabled, Wynkr can send short text context to our suggestion server to generate a response. Without Full Access, those features are disabled and nothing leaves your device.
Information we collect
We collect as little as we can. Specifically:
Stored on your device only (never sent to us)
- Your keyboard preferences and persona selection.
- Any in-app settings.
Sent to our suggestion server (only when you trigger an AI suggestion, and only with Full Access enabled)
- The current text context from the field you're typing in.
- Your selected persona and focus chip, so we can generate an appropriate response.
Sent to our purchase verifier (only if you upgrade to Pro)
- An Apple-issued purchase receipt. This receipt confirms you've bought Wynkr Pro and does not identify you personally.
We do not collect
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information.
- Messages, contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
- A user account or login — we don't have accounts.
- Cookies, advertising identifiers, or device identifiers used for tracking.
How we use information
Text context sent to our suggestion server is used solely to generate a suggestion that we return to your keyboard. After the suggestion is generated, the context is discarded. We do not log it, store it, or use it for any other purpose.
Pro purchase receipts are used only to verify your purchase and unlock the corresponding features in the app. Receipts are not linked to any other data.
We do not use any information collected through Wynkr to train AI models.
Third parties
To generate suggestions, our backend uses a third-party AI provider. When you request a suggestion, the text context is sent through our server to that provider, which returns a response. The provider acts as a data processor and is bound by their terms not to retain the data or use it to train their models.
We use the following third parties:
- Apple — App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing.
- Cloudflare — hosting for our suggestion server.
- OpenAI (ChatGPT API) — generating suggestions.
We do not share any information with advertisers, data brokers, analytics services that track you across apps, or anyone else.
Data retention
We do not retain the text context you send to our suggestion server. It is processed in memory to generate a suggestion and then discarded. Operational logs (request counts, error rates) do not contain the contents of your input.
Security
All data sent between your device and our suggestion server is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
Children's privacy
Wynkr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has used Wynkr in a way that requires our attention, please contact us.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal information that can identify you, there is nothing for us to look up, correct, or delete on your behalf. Information you generate stays on your device or is processed transiently and discarded.

International users
Wynkr is available globally. Our suggestion server runs on Cloudflare's global network, with requests processed at the data center geographically closest to you, which may be in a country other than your own. Suggestions are then generated by OpenAI (ChatGPT API), which operates its own global infrastructure. By using Wynkr, you understand that text context may be processed across international borders.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date at the top. We will not retroactively reduce the protections described here without notifying users in the app.
